How to Register

Please go to www.wyd2008.org and click on the link/picture in the middle that says Registrations Now Open – Register Now.

The Group name is Disciples of Jesus Blue Mountains and the

Group number is 3343.

You will need both of these to register. Also register for Package B.

This means that we are registered for the whole week of events but we organise our own accommodation or contact Charles Abela on 0408886026

Registration Message from Charles

Dear Pilgrims,

It is now time to start making payments for registration.

Total amount of fundraising so far is approx $1000. We have 22 members in our group and this costs $7,370

At this stage I would ask that payment of $250 of total $335 be made as soon as possible. We will let you know the outstanding balance when we finalise and allocate monies received from fund-raising and sponsorship.

If you know of any people wishing to sponsor registration payments, please let me know.
If you know of anyone who has not registered because they cannot afford it please let me know as we may be able to find sponsorship for them.

If you would like to pay full payment to allow funds raised to be allocated to others who are struggling, please let me know also.
The methods of payment are as follows.
1: Pay cash directly to Charles Abela. Receipts can be arranged if required.
2: Pay By Cheque : Pay to 'Disciples of Jesus group 3343'. The cheque can be given to Charles Abela.

3:Pay Online: Log on to WYD registrations with your user name and password and click on to payments tab. You can then pay by credit card online

Come to the Upper Room

A Night of Intercession with the

Cross and Icon

We are delighted that Parramatta Diocese has agreed to let the Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community together with the Charismatic Groups, Movements and Communities host the WYD Cross and Icon on Monday April 14^th2008.

The primary thrust of the evening will be to 'tarry' in the Upper Room as the disciples did in the sure hope that Jesus would send the Holy Spirit in fulfilment of his promise, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” (Acts 1:8) It is primarily a night of intercession for the coming of the Holy Spirit at World Youth Day and in particular ‘Receive the Power Live' which is to be hosted by the combined Charismatic Groups, Movements and Communities at the 'Barangaroo' site in Darling Harbour.

This is a major event in what we, as Disciples and SWORD are hosting together with the others and we will be playing a major role in it. Please pray for an anointing on this evening and invite as many people as possible to come.
